I bought the DVD of Labrynth yesterday. I'd seen the movie when I was a child, and I know there's a fandom for it with bunches of fan fiction. It stands to reason because David is awesome!
Anyway, other Labrynth fans [like Mrs. Niles Crane] will probably already know this, but I just realized... there's HP things in that movie. The 2 that stick out are that the one guy who helps Sarah is repeatedly called "Hogwart" instead of his real name Hoggle. Also, there's a big character called Ludo.
Neat, huh? Makes me wonder if JKR really did get some ideas from that movie.

I noticed that, too! *laughs*
And the whole labyrinth thing kind of goes along with GoF -- not to mention there's a man with a lot of power who has hair that grabs everybody's attention... Although Jareth's fluff-mullet slightly beats out Snape's grease-coated stuff.
('Kay, that last one was a stretch...)

One more. I forgot that Sir Dydimus acts a lot like Sir Cadogan, don't you think?
I was very surprised by the similarities.
Not sure I liked the mullet, but the move was made in the 80s. Could better honestly be expected?
