I've been out of the fic loop for a few months. So, what great fic is out there to be read that's been posted within the last... oh 6 months? I'd love to know.
And I'd love to get some activity going on this board.

Here's a few I'd recommend in no particular order: Moonlight Healing by Velvet Storm: www.fanfiction.net/s/2617072/1/. It's well-written, and I like the way the author is taking their time with the plot and the relationship. WIP Howl of Despair by Scion of Kushiel: www.fanfiction.net/s/2469236/1/. Nice, lengthy story. Occasionally a bit melodramatic, but good. There's a sequel as well, but it mostly features original characters. This is a completed work. Madame Wolf has tormented us with two fics that haven't gone past the first chapter: Do Hurry and With Bells On (both at ff.net). Friendlyquark is still updating A Dish Served Cold ( ashwinder.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=2573). It's billed as Hermione/Snape and contains about a billion other couples including R/G, but it's a well-written and gripping story with lots of twists and turns. The Silver Chain by Madjh: wolfsbane.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=1589. I occasionally quibble with the characterisations, but there are so few R/G fics that I'm happy if a story is competently written. WIP. Possession by Ssergit: www.fanfiction.net/s/2904933/1/. Cute one-shot. The bachelorette auction plot is old, but the execution is entertaining. If She Fell by Aoibheann: theburrow.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=340. You may have read this one already. A sweet, gentle romance. I always like to see the characters acting like grown-ups. Completed. Shall add more if/as I think of them. I'd love to hear what everyone else has been reading as well. Sam

Our very own AJRoald updated her story War of Remembrances a few weeks ago. You can find it at the GROWL homepage growl.8m.net/fiction/ajroald/wor1.htmlIf any of you haven't already started reading it, I would recommend it. It is one of my favorite fan fictions. Thanks for all the recommendations Sam, I haven't read most of those fics yet.

I did read Possession because the author wrote me herself to indicate it was there and ask to be added to the GROWL fic links. It was a good story. The only thing that bugged me was the consistently wrong spelling of bachelorette.

Jerusha,
I think War of Remembrances is great as well. I tend to prefer stories where Ginny's an adult, as well as nice, long, well-developed stories. WoR combines both of those things. I just hope AJRoald is able to keep the momentum going. I'd really like to see this one finished.
I'm glad I was able to come up with a few things you haven't read. I'd love to hear what you think of them.

The only thing that bugged me was the consistently wrong spelling of bachelorette. You know, I completely missed that. The Internet has rotted my brain! Either that or my brain has improved its ability to translate misspelled words purely as a defensive mechanism.
