OK, maybe this is a stupid question...
I've read several good stories where Ginny becoming a werewolf is the precedence for a relationship between her and Remus (and on the same token, there are bad stories that use this premise too). Sometimes she is bitten by Remus, but usually it's by another werewolf and Remus is brought in to offer aid and comfort (and be her 'guide').
I've also heard theories that a pregnancy would be easier if Ginny was a werewolf (since popular concensus seems to be that lycanthropy is passed down to the child).
So what is your opinion and why?

This is interesting if only for the fact that I've been meaning to post a question like this in the Remus-only forum. I have wondered how important being a werewolf is to the enjoyment we have of the Remus character. I thought of it when I challenged Mrs. Niles Crane yet again to write a "werewolf" chapter of NQL.
It just seems that no fans I've ever read ever want Remus NOT to be a werewolf. That's fine and all because that's how he was introduced to us. I'm just pointing it out.
The thing I just now wonder about if Ginny becomes a werewolf: Who would watch them to make sure they don't do any damage on the nights of full moon?
And AJ, where have your ead all these Ginny as wolf stories? Off the top of my head I can only think of a few--Chainless Soul, Acquainted With the Night being the two most obvious. I can't think of others right now. If there *are*, does that mean I don't have their story links up at GROWL? [Then again, is it my subconscious mind chosing not to remember pieces that were really poorly written?]

I found something last night, in a book of quotations, that I thought went along well with this thread (don't shoot me if it's in the wrong place... I'm on pain meds):
"A certain fox, it is said, wanted to become a wolf. Ah! who can say why no wolf has ever craved the life of a sheep?"
It's attributed to what appears to be a book of fables from the 1600's and, while I'm only slightly aware of it's meaning, I couldn't stop myself from posting it.
There is the amazing "coincidence" of Ginny receiving a werewolf bite... but what if she wants to become one? It's a different angle, I think. Especially if someone goes with an ObsessiveRemusStalking!Ginny.

I guess I should comment here as I am in the middle of writing a werewolf!GinnyxRemus fic that Ive been working on on and off for a few months now.
I love these two together and the idea for this fic just popped into my head one day. Not to say that I only like the idea of wolf Ginny with Remus, I like her both human as well as lycanthrope. I just felt it was another way their relationship could develop as it is an major part of the Remus character.
