So, we all know we like Remus and Ginny...but them aside (I can't believe those words just came out of my fingers ) which secondary student character is your favorite and why? If your fav character isn't listed above, just leave a note! ~ AJ

I'm all for the Weasley twins! They are two of my favorite characters because they always provide much of the needed humor in the HP books. They sort of remind me of the gravediggers in "Hamlet." Their only part in that play was to provide comic relief to Hamlet's tragedy and I think Fred and George serve that purpose to Harry well!

I absolutely love Neville. He's adorable, wonderfully funny, comes complete with eccentric relatives and is just s'darn cute. *sighs* The 11-year-old Neville I have in my head reminds me of a Precious Moments figurine.

I had also voted for Neville, though I also had a strong Luna inclination.
Neville has always been important, and that's just part of the writing talent for JKR. Think of when Harry ran away in PoA. He used Neville's name as his alias on the Knight Bus. I'm glad Neville was able to start growing a pair in OotP. I suspect he'll be a key player to the end of the series.

OK, I haven't cast my vote yet, so many delicious characters, so little time. I'm torn, really... I love the twins, they add the comic relief to a very intense story, yet by their inventions and the like, you can tell they are very formidable wizards, and may or may not end up as Order members in the next book (since they are no longer going to school). I also like Neville and Luna a lot and think that they will both play integral roles in the next couple of books. Out of all the characters, I think we have seen the most character growth and development in Neville, which has endeared him to this readers heart. So my vote could be cast in any of those directions, and I find it funny that the votes that have already been cast, have been cast in those directions (you aren't helping me make up my mind though! ).

I think it has to be Neville for me. Ive loved him since book one, always wanted to pinch his little fat cheeks ;D
I have said from the off that he'd be important so when OoTP came out I pretty much danced Numfar's dance of joy round my living room. The comment about his dad's wand had me squeeing too, as it seems he'll be more than ready to kick some proverbial butt in the next two.

One of my favorite characters is Draco Malfoy. Even though JKR has written him as such, I believe that he is more than just a token bully or the anti-hero. She's going to surprise us by developing his character in the last two books. She went through all that trouble to name a chapter after him. The other reason that I love Malfoy is because his character is so underdeveloped that we can read him as we please. There's just no telling how the story is going to end for Draco. Perhaps, he'll end up like Snape, spying for the good side - under his own terms, of course. After all, he is Slytherin!
