So.. this is a board for shippers of Remus and Ginny, but the Remus-only forum has slightly more posts than this one. I odn't think that's right because it takes two to tango.
So... where's the Ginny love?
You could also consider this thread the "Why we think Ginny is so cool" thread.
So... any others want to offer up some Ginny-love?
Here's one:
She's the youngest sister of 6 brothers. You know that's got to be character building!

Oh, the Ginny love! ;D
The reason that I like Ginny is that there is so much potential there. Her canon character has actually played quite an important role, even though she wasn't 'on screen' much...and I think that her character is going to become even more important as the books progress (as in OotP).
Even when others were writing her as week and fragile, I had always imagined her stong, a survivor. Her and Neville are going to be the two characters to watch in books 6 & 7 I think.

I completely agree with you about Ginny being important later on. Does anyone else think JKR is setting up Harry/Ginny to be "repeat" of James/Lily? Sometimes I get that, but then it's gone.
I like that Ginny seems important for other reasons than her association with the Trio. For example, her being the only Weasley female born in generations is pretty hefty. Also, the fact that she isn't truly portrayed as "weak" through JKR is important as well.
That's my 2 cents!

I definitely agree that Ginny was really brought out in OotP. We learned that she's fiesty, smart, and quite brave! She has such the personality to shine in the next two books.
Not too many people get the kind of respect that Fred and George gave her when they said that size is not a definition of power. Then, she reduces Harry to little or nothing in book 5 ('Lucky you,' she says) when he told he forgot about her being possessed by Tom Riddle. Also, she proved to be self directed and kind by defending Luna to her housemates when they thought Luna was too strange. Best of all, how many eleven year olds do you think can survive the possession of the most evil wizard of the age?
I'm excited about where JKR will do with Ginny before the series is over. I remember Rowling said that Books 2 (her and the diary) and 4 have big clues for the ending. This leads me to believe that Ginny will have a big part in the downfall (let's hope!) of Voldermort.

I think youve pretty much summed up why I love her lol.
I hate the fact that people are so down on Ginny for no apparent reason, I feel if you are gonna dislike a character, at least have a reason for it.
